Since I was a kid I was actively involved in sport (soccer, ice-hockey, running). I support active lifestyle connected with right eating habits and movement. I work as a personal fitness coach since 2005. In my  work-outs I pay close attention to medical components of exercise considering primary needs of my clients such as reduction of weight, reinforcement of the body, increase of muscle mass, improvement of stamina or medical exercise. I have also experience working with children and seniors. My workouts are appropriate to active athletes but also for people with medical troubles cause for example by jobs with a lot of sitting or other unilateral activity.

My goal for more than eight years is your health and long-term healthy lifestyle. I believe that the perfect care of your body and health is the best lifetime investment that will always pay off.

I made the first steps towards exercise on the high school when I started to regularly visit gym in Prague, Vrsovice. It was the classical “old school” gym full of iron dumbbells and sweaty fanatics. No women had the courage to walk in there. To keep the good reputation, you had to lift the heaviest weight possible which usually did not go with the good technique of each movement and therefore it was not that healthy.

Another milestone was when I during my college studies found a job in the fitness centre in the marketing department. Communicating with people and trying to help them was e great experience for me. From this point it was just a small step to becoming a personal fitness coach where I could connect the two things, I like the most, communicating with people and exercise. I completed the school of Petr Tlapak Tonus and earned an international certificate of fitness instructor. From that time on I started to focus more on healthy diet, fitness and a healthy lifestyle in general and I completed many courses, workshops and seminars which I still do as a part of my never-ending process of learning. I also follow the latest trends and new possibilities in fitness world. I like improving myself, trying and learning new things and overcoming new challenges. I also profit from my experience from marketing and management, from my running sessions outdoors or exercise in corporate environment. Overall, the biggest source of inspiration and experience are my clients.

My goal for more than eight years is your health and long-term healthy lifestyle. Fitness and the healthy movement are my lifestyle, my mission, which makes me happy. Every one of my clients is unique and their goals are varied. Nevertheless, a common goal of all the should be physical and psychical balance and inner peace. That why I set every workout in a specific way that a client need. I believe that the perfect care of your body and health is the best lifetime investment that will always pay off. My name is David Bakes and I am a personal trainer here at Synergy Club Andel. I am a former professional snowboarder in the discipline of Snowboard Cross. I regularly participated races of the World Cup from 2007 till 2014. I also participated two Winter Olympic Games, in 2010 in Vancouver, Canada and in 2014 in Sochi, Russia. I specialize on physical and psychical performance of athletes, because both are needed to achieve a wanted goal. I look forward to meeting you!

I specialize in fitness and strength training of athletes with maximum individual approach. I try to get the best out of every client.

During my university studies, I became more and more interested in fitness training. After graduating and getting my degree I started to work as a personal trainer in the worldwide network of Jatomi fitness in Prague, where I worked as a Master trainer. For the past few years I have been fully engaged in coaching activities, it is both a hobby and a profession for me. Personal endeavour is continuous growth and professional development, while at the same time complementing and expanding education and / or deepening knowledge and skills in this area.

Personally, I consider myself a great athlete and a careful person with an eye for detail. In the past I have been engaged in sports karate, where I was a member of the Czech national team, in recent years I have been doing triathlon and running.

I offer personal trainings with a professional and individual approach. I focus on diagnostics of musculoskeletal system, fitness and strength training of athletes, especially running and triathlon, weight reduction, balancing muscle disbalances, deep stabilization system of the spine, functional training or exercise with balance aids.

Among other things, I offer online coaching and creation of individual training plans or menus. I actively participate in testing cross-country equipment of leading Czech and world brands and regularly publish in cross-country periodicals. I would describe my story as an elaboration of a casual fitness girl whose goal was to lose some weight into an Elite Pro bikini competitor with the goal to motivate others. All this in 7 years. If I managed to fulfil my dreams, why not you?

I have been working in fitness for more than 7 years ... practically since my childhood. I got to the gym when I wanted to lose weight and strengthen my body. I succeeded during the year, so I became more interested in this lifestyle. Gradually I fell in love with fitness. And because others were starting to notice changes, I took coaching courses to share experiences and motivate. 

I have been an active coach for over 4 years. I really enjoy working with people, sharing my own experience, whether in the field of fitness or even racing. Bikini fitness is my big hobby that fills me. Every medal won drives me on, so since 2019 I find myself in professional racers and start a new stage again.

I think I can bring a different perspective to the training due to racing - besides the appearance, the emphasis is on the symmetry of the figure, the elaboration of the top of the body, but also on the so much desired women's hard buttocks and thighs. Similarly, the basis of success is the modification of the diet, without it it would be only half the success. ;)
