You need to enjoy a sports drink, cocktail or protein candy bar just like your favorite dessert

Gone are the times when athletes went for sweetened tea and banana. Reason? The time has changed, life is more hurried, more demanding, the performance of hobby sportsmen has shifted. Nutritional specialist Jana Samková advises how to choose the right supplement.

Before and during training

Balanced carbohydrate intake and hydration. We live in times full of extremes. Many people anxiously and unreasonably monitor carbohydrate intake and can arrive at low sugar training and refill liquids with water only. They are tired, are driving their last strength, and of course there is a risk of collapse. We need carbohydrates to work. Modern sports drinks are a mix of sports carbohydrates such as maltodextrin and fructose. They should not contain sucrose, such as sugar, or even glucose syrup, as they are in “energy” supermarkets. Drinks designed for athletes usually contain carbohydrates just for one-hour training, so there is nothing to worry about. In addition, vitamins and minerals are in an optimal combination to complement those sweaty during training and ensure faster rehydration than normal water. Such a drink is ISO DRINK from Multipower or HYDRA DRINK from Namedsport. At the Synergy Club reception, you will also find RED KICK, which is also enriched with guarana and kick-start taurine if you are exhausted and tired of work. The only exception are L-carnitine drinks, which are in contrast carbohydrate-free. This is because L-carnitine helps release energy from fats, making it successful in reducing programs for more efficient combustion. At the same time, L-carnitine helps the heart to function properly. Therefore, I recommend to overweight people who suddenly decide to start the change of their body composition, L-carnitine as an anti-infarction crutch. After training

Amino Acid replenishment. The most important task after training is to supplement amino acids (from proteins) used to regenerate muscle tissue. The body works a bit cannibalistic. If it is stressed and does not have enough nutrients, it eats itself. As soon as it does not receive its amino acid dose directly or in the form of, for example, a protein shakes or a bar, the so-called catabolic phase of replenishment of the energy required to function by muscle transformation takes place. It then fades, becoming more fragile and vulnerable to injury. In addition, regeneration is longer, extreme fatigue occurs, everything much more and longer hurts. And you know that. The optimum products we supply are 55g PROTEIN SHAKE or 53% PROTEIN BAR, 40% PROTEIN FIT.
